Children’s Ministry

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday morning we provide care and age appropriate programming for children from birth through 5th grade. For our Sunday morning worship, our children are divided into four age groupings. See below for what to expect within each group

Birth through 2 years old – Nursery

Our nursery is located upstairs and is available for any children under the age of 3. When you arrive, please head upstairs to check your child into our nursery. Our volunteers will greet you and collect all necessary information from you to ensure we offer your child the best care. Following our worship service, you will head back upstairs to check out your child.

3 and 4 year old classroom

Before our service you will check in your child at their classroom located in the room to your left when walking in the front doors. Our volunteers will greet you and collect any necessary information to ensure your child receives the best care. During your child’s time with us, they will have a time to play with friends, learn an age-appropriate Bible lesson, enjoy a snack, and share a prayer together. Following our worship service, you will head back to this room to check your child out.

Pre-K through 1st grade

If your child is in Pre-K through 1st grade, they will join you in church for the beginning of our worship service. During our service there will be a time when all children Pre-K through 5th grade are dismissed to Kid’s Church. They will head back to our kitchen entrance where a volunteer will greet them and escort them to their designated class area on the back porch. During Kid’s church, your child will enjoy a time of an age-appropriate Bible lesson, hands on activities and games to reinforce the lesson, worship, and a time of prayer. Following our worship service, you will head to the back porch (kitchen side) to pick up your child.

2nd grade through 5th grade

If your child is in 2nd grade through 5th grade, they will join you in church for the beginning of our worship service. During our service there will be a time when all children Pre-K through 5th grade are dismissed to Kid’s Church. They will head back to our kitchen entrance where a volunteer will greet them and escort them to their designated class area on the back porch. During Kid’s church, your child will enjoy a time of an age-appropriate Bible lesson, hands on activities and games to reinforce the lesson, worship, and a time of prayer. Following our worship service, you will head to the back porch (side furthest from kitchen) to pick up your child.
